Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Masters AI Legal website, events, content platform (The Signal), and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing our Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
Masters AI Legal reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Use of Services
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use our Services in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content from our website or The Signal without prior written permission.
- Use automated means to access, scrape, or index our Services without our express written consent.
- Impersonate Masters AI, any Masters AI employee, or any other person or entity.
- Transmit any unsolicited advertising, spam, or other promotional material through our Services.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Masters AI website and The Signal — including text, graphics, logos, audio, video, data compilations, and software — is the property of Masters AI Legal or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Masters AI name, logo, and all related product and service names are trademarks of Masters AI Legal.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our content for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.
Event Registration and Attendance
Registration for Masters AI events is subject to availability and acceptance. By registering for an event you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Abide by the event Code of Conduct, which will be provided upon registration.
- Comply with venue rules and any applicable health and safety requirements.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 30 days before an event are eligible for a full refund less a processing fee. Cancellations made 15–30 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund or full credit toward a future event. Cancellations made fewer than 15 days before the event are non-refundable. Substitution of attendees is permitted with advance notice.
The Signal — Content and Subscriptions
The Signal newsletter and content platform is provided for informational purposes only. Content published by Masters AI or its contributors does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. The views expressed by guest contributors are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Masters AI.
You may subscribe to and unsubscribe from The Signal at any time. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any subscription feature at our discretion.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. Masters AI does not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Masters AI Legal, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Masters AI Legal and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of our Services.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
